For example, the promise of combining the qualitative (\u201cwhat they say\u201d) and quantitative (\u201cwhat they do\u201d) data is huge. Qualaroo already\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.qualaroo.com\/integrate-google-analytics-with-qualaroo\">publishes data to Google Analytics<\/a>\u00a0and KISSmetrics.\u00a0The challenge is that our customers use various analytics solutions and it seems every day we get another request to integrate with a different one. \u00a0Prioritizing these requests would mean some customers would be disappointed by a long wait for an integration with their preferred analytics solution. Beyond the time it takes for the initial integration, it\u2019s an additional strain to keep them up to date with their evolving interfaces.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately we recently discovered\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/segment.io\">Segment.io<\/a>\u00a0as a way to integrate with several marketing tools simultaneously. \u00a0Segment.io is an analytics startup that lets you send analytics data to any service you want, without you having to integrate with each one individually.\u00a0Instead of putting code snippets for every analytics product you want to record events in, you use just analytics.js \u2013 a JavaScript library that Segment.io published and open-sourced. Then, instead of\u00a0calling each analytics product\u2019s API when an event of interest happens on your site, you call one analytics.js function (e.g. \u201ctrack\u201d to track an event), and\u00a0Segment.io propagates your event into all the analytics services you configured in your account.<\/p>\n<p>Segment.io is able to publish data to Google Analytics, KISSmetrics, Clicky, Mixpanel, \u00a0Chartbeat, and many others.<\/p>\n<p>The integrations go beyond analytics products. Some marketing automation and lead nurturing services, like\u00a0HubSpot and Marketo, are also included. You can see the ever growing list at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/app.segment.com\/login?redirect=%2Fintegrations\">https:\/\/segment.io\/integrations<\/a>.\u00a0Most integrations are free, while some are premium.<\/p>\n<p>Once we discovered Segment.io, the integration itself was very\u00a0straightforward. Now our customers can get the qualitative data produced through Qualaroo into a variety of analytics services.
